  • "Ready...Pack...Go" Campaign
    • A program in Fairfax County, Virginia where the campaign used faith-based leaders to engage the community and encourage emergency preparedness.

Make a Plan

  • L.A. School Kids Get Prepped
    • A FEMA effort to provide California children with the preparedness knowledge necessary to make wise and informed decisions. It also promoted sharing the learned information with their neighborhoods and parents.

Be Informed

  • New Jersey's State Citizen Corps Council
    • The NJSCCC funds and oversees all local Citizen Corps programs from the state headquarters. This promotes statewide consistency in training, resources, and public awareness initiatives for all New Jersey Citizen Corps programs.

Get Involved

  • Farmington Hills Youth Essay Contest
    • Contest focused on how families can take steps to prepare for emergencies and included tips such as creating an emergency supply kit, taking shelter, and becoming knowledgeable about first aid and severe weather conditions.
