Resources to Engage Agricultural Producers in U.S. Biosecurity Efforts
Designed for Extension advisors, agents, and specialists who understand the urgency of plant protection and will have the opportunity to teach plant biosecurity management to those involved in the U.S. agricultural sector.

This course will enable Extension professionals to teach agricultural producers, workers, and others who are involved or have a vested interest in the U.S. agricultural sector how to:

  • prepare for a plant biosecurity event;
  • appropriately respond and recover from a plant biosecurity event; and
  • reduce the effects of future plant biosecurity events.

Target Audience: Extension advisors, agents, specialists. Also suitable for agricultural producers, emergency managers, and public health officials.
Delivery Method:  Interactive, On-line
Cost: EDEN does not charge for use of these materials or for taking the course online. Cost will depend on the local cost of meeting space (if offered in a classroom setting) and printing handouts.
